Kajuru LGA Distributes Free Drugs to its people.




In continuation of its comitment to ensure good health of it citizens, kajuru local Government council of kaduna state has Donated drugs worth millions of naira for treatment of dirhea,vomiting, maleria, typhoid fever and other diseases Free of charge to people of the area. 

Speaking During the Drugs Distribution at the council secretariat, the Council Chiarman Mr Ibrahim Gajere said the gesture was to show the peaple that governments prority is to ensure they are in good health.

Mr Ibrahim Gajere explained that the council supplied the drugs to be  given free to children and  aged people to relief them from spending huge amount of money to treat such kind of diseases. 

Mr Gajere added that the Drugs is going to be distributed to 255 health facilities across the 10 electoral wards of the local Government to enable the beneficiaries of the free drugs get it closer to them.

the council Chiarman therefore, called  on the health workers to desist from selling the drugs because any staff caught selling the medicines will have himself to blame.l

Also speaking, the health secretary of kajuru local Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal Sulaiman  said the free drugs Distribution came at a time when people are in seriuos economic situation who need urgent asistance from the Government.

Some of the beneficiaries thanked the council Chiarman Mr Ibrahim Gajere for the gesture, assuring him that they will use the drugs juduciously for their own benefit.
