Ministry of Labour and Employment trains over 200 youths on Vocational Skills

Chikun Local Government empowers over 200 youths on Vocational Skills.


In its continuous effort to provide Job opportunities among youth across the Country, the federal Government has trained over two hundred youth on various skills in kaduna state.

The training which is under the National Vocational Skills training and empowerment program was organised by the federal Ministry of Labour and Employment kaduna state office.

The National Vocational Skills training and empowerment program was introduced by the Federal Government with the aim of reducing the rate of unemployment among youth across the Country.

Speaking during the Graduation, the deputy director, Training Development who represented the Minister of state for Labour and Employment, Nkiruka Onyejeoka, Engineer Ojo Sunday, described the training as a huge success to the nation that will address youth restivenes.

Emphasizing on the important of training the youth, the Controller, federal Ministry of Labour and Employment kaduna state office, Alhaji Isah Bello Dambazau and some of the Sponsors charged the graduating students to utilize what they have learnt during the training to become self-reliant.                        

Some of the graduating Students thanked the federal government and other partners that contributed towards the success of their training.
