The Story of Abdulazeez Butu (Zezu): A hardworking and talented player.

Abdul'azeez Butu also known as Zezu was Born in Borno State and was brought up in kaduna State at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Barrack. He currently resides in Mahuta Community Igabi Local Government area of kaduna State, Nigeria.

Abdul'azeez Butu started his Football career in the year 2009 were he played for many clubs like, Mahuta United, Rukayya Football Academy and DMF Football Academy amongst others.

Abdul'azeez was born to the family of a retired Solder of the Nigerian Army where they lived in many states like, Edo, Niger, Lagos, the Federal Capital territory Abuja and his state of Origin Borno.

Abdul'azeez started travelling to play outside the state when he joined Rukayya Football Academy in Kaduna State where he played for some couple of years and has travelled with the team to many places for away matches and trails for other prospective clubs.

In the year 2016, Abdul'azeez went for a trail with Rukayya team where they played a friendly Match with Nigeria U17 team during Coach Manu Garba losing the game by 4 goals to 1.

Recall that Nigeria’s under 17 team at that time were about to travel to Brazil.

Interestingly, that was when Abdul'azeez Butu and some of his team mates got an invitation to take part in Nigeria’s U17 trail at goal Project Abuja in the year 2015.

Abdul'azeez Butu was Opportuned to play with the likes of Victor osimen of Galatasaray, Nwakali, Toufiq Jibril one of his friends in Mando Afaka as well as his old NDA 81 barracks mate Kingsley Michael.

Apart from these professional Footballers, the sensational Midfielder also played with Super eagles forward, Moses Simon (Ajala), Usman Amodu who was among the Nigeria U17 team that won the title with late Yemi Tela, Dady Barau of kawo and other team mates who are now professionals like Abdulrazak ishaq of Andeletch in Belgium, Ibrahim yahaya of El kenemi of Borno State among other players.

During his struggle, Abdul'azeez Butu had also traveled to many states in Nigeria including Lagos, kogi, Anambra, Nasarawa, the federal Capital territory  amongst others for Different Scouting programs.

According to the Midfielder, his current and parent Club is Mahuta United Football Club based in Igabi Local Government area of kaduna State.

Abdul'azeez Butu, over the years has focused on his personal growth by training day and night and waiting for a greater opportunity, believing that God Almighty will make it possible for him to sow high.
